BioHorizons Single-stage - Specifically designed for quality outcomes

BioHorizons Single-stage implants are placed using the same surgical kit as the BioHorizons Internal (two-stage) implants giving clinicians the flexibility to choose the implant design best suited each particular case. Each of the three prosthetic platforms has two implant body diameter options to maximize use of available bone while providing the desired prosthetic emergence.

The intuitive layout of the Surgical Kit makes following the surgical sequence a snap. Innovative drills featuring built-in depth stops and non end-cutting geometry greatly increase surgical confidence and safety. The implant's prosthetic platform is color-coded by diameter, as are all the corresponding prosthetic parts, virtually eliminating potential mismatching components.

Single-stage implants intended for Simple Solution restorations should be placed so that the implant shoulder sits at or below the tissue level, depending on the desired final position of the crown margin. In general, restorations in the esthetic zone will have subgingival margins; whereas non-esthetic posterior restorations might be at or above the gingival level for hygiene considerations.
