2007 Global Symposium Wrap-up

BioHorizons extends our appreciation to all attendees of BioHorizons Global Symposium 2007 held in Hollywood, Florida at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa. We were joined in Florida by over 400 clinicians from around the world for a 3-day continuing education experience.

“The Symposium was not only successful for BioHorizons from a record attendance standpoint, but also for all attendees who gained knowledge from the education and science based presentations. We will continue to improve from 2007’s success and will incorporate your feedback to include what you feel is most important,” says Steve Boggan, President and CEO.

On one stage, world renowned clinicians covered stimulating implant and regeneration topics including: computer-aided diagnosis and surgery, soft tissue around dental implants, and advantages, indications & contraindications of one-stage, two-stage and small diameter implants. Some of our newest technology was revealed in lectures on laser-etched implant surface treatments for maintenance of the hard and soft tissue complex.

Auxiliary attendees participated in an extensive 2-day lecture and hands-on program. This program allowed auxiliary to experience the steps required to place and restore BioHorizons implants. In addition, they were updated on marketing techniques and proper insurance coding for dental implant and soft tissue procedures.

As always, Saturday night’s Dinner Gala was a tremendous success. Doctors from around the globe mingled with presenters and BioHorizons representatives in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The exceptional food and music made for a memorable end to a fantastic program.

BioHorizons Global Symposium is an annual opportunity to become acquainted with BioHorizons’ new innovations and to build relationships with other clinicians and staff. We hope you will take advantage of next year’s symposium on May 1-3, 2008 in beautiful San Diego, California.
