Since our beginning, BioHorizons has manufactured dental implants in the U.S. Every implant we produce is the result of advanced engineering, precision manufacturing and rigorous quality control. That means our R&D engineering team works hand-in-hand with our U.S.-based manufacturing experts to drive more than just product development — we’re investing in and committed to a resilient supply chain, predictable pricing and dependable service. We’ve earned the trust of thousands of clinicians not only because we make exceptional implants but because we innovate with intention, manufacture with integrity and never compromise on where or how we do it.
Our company was founded through research conducted at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1994 by Carl E. Misch, DDS, Martha Bidez, PhD, and Todd Strong, COO of BioHorizons. With an extensive background in biomedical engineering, Steve Boggan joined BioHorizons in 1995 and accepted the CEO position four years later. With a strong executive team that has been around since the beginning, BioHorizons has become a leader in the dental implant community.
We believe in innovating beyond the product to provide platforms that enable you to grow your practice by incorporating innovative education, marketing and communications to expand and engage your patient base. We provide patient education and case acceptance strategies to help you close more cases and grow your practice, in addition to clinical training through programs like TeethXpress® full-arch courses. And we’re proud to support organizations like the Oral Reconstruction Foundation to offer a robust education year-round.
BioHorizons has a presence in more than 90 countries throughout North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. We are dedicated to effectively meeting your needs with our global team of product support specialists, professionally trained customer care and technical support representatives around the world.
