MINEROSS - Function Follows Form

MINEROSS is a mixture of mineralized allograft cancellous and mineralized allograft cortical chips that provide an osteoconductive scaffold to encourage bone growth.  MINEROSS has demonstrated excellent outcomes and provides you the features of having a combination of cancellous and cortical chips in one vial. 

The large chip size of the mineralized cancellous blend provides an osteoconductive scaffold for the ingrowth of bone cells leading to remodeling of the bone.  The mineralized cortical chips offer excellent structure to maintain the necessary attributes that are necessary during the bone remodeling phase.  The blend of MINEROSS allows you to achieve optimal results of the regeneration of bone tissue that is essential for the support of dental implants. 

MINEROSS is used where space maintenance and volume enhancement is essential and is indicated for:

  • Socket Grafting
  • Ridge Augmentation
  • Sinus Augmentation
  • Periodontal Defects

MINEROSS provides for easily handling and can be used alone or in a composite graft with autologous bone or DBM allograft bone, such as GRAFTON DBM.  It does not require re-hydration, but if desired can be re-constituted with sterile saline, antibiotic solution, the patient’s blood/PRP, autologous bone, or an allograft, such as GRAFTON DBM.

MINEROSS is sterile packaged in single-patient glass vial and has a 3-year shelf-life at room temperature. It does not require any additional sterilization to be performed.

The bone undergoes a proprietary viral inactivation process that greatly exceeds the levels that known clinically relevant viruses could conceivably contaminate bone.
