Conical SmartShape® Healers
The BioHorizons SmartShape® healing system offers an anatomically designed healing abutment solution that is also integrated with digital restorative workflows. Healers are available in different profiles that are contoured to match natural tooth shapes, providing more esthetic tissue shaping. Once placed, the SmartShape healer can be scanned or impressed to transfer the implant position to a model. Custom abutments can be milled to match the anatomical profile of each healer and maintain the tissue contouring with the final restoration.
SmartShape Healer workflow
1. Place
Place SmartShape Healer. Leave 0.5mm of abutment above the tissue for impressing.
2. Impress
Take an impression of the abutment, using a digital scanner or traditional closed-tray workflow.
3. Design
Design custom final matching the SmartShape anatomical profile. Libraries and design files are available through VulcanDental.com.
4. Deliver
Deliver the final restoration with an emergence that directly matches the soft tissue.
