PerioMatrix

features of PerioMatrix

For periodontists and surgeons who use collagen matrices or autografts, PerioMatrix provides you a xenograft alternative designed to increase keratinized tissue with its dual layer structure and is designed to perform when primary closure is not possible.*

  • Composed of smooth outer layer that acts as a barrier membrane and a porous matrix later to allow for cell invasion and tissue ingrowth
  • Available in multiple sizes and can be trimmed easily for appropriate fit
  • Fixation or suturing is possible for PerioMatrix
  • Designed so the porous layer is in contact with host tissue, including bone, bone graft or periosteum while the film side faces outward away from underlying bone
  • Primary closure is not required for device performance

*Complete wound closure should be attempted when possible

handling characteristics

durability

  • Easily trimmed and adapted
  • Integrates into existing grafting workflows

control

  • Freedom beyond palatal tissue limitations
  • Options for thin phenotypes, implants and recession cases
  • Complements clinical skill rather than dictating technique
